Mobile Audio Meets CEATEC JAPAN
Not only was QSound’s leading microQ® mobile audio technology demonstrated at CEATEC JAPAN, the largest international exhibition in Asia for the technology and electronics sectors, at the show Japan’s wireless operator SoftBank launched its first 3G/GSM handset by Panasonic incorporating QSound’s microQ technology, the SoftBank 705P mobile phone.
The 705P is an easy open clamshell that users
can download and enjoy content including Near Games, real tones and
wallpapers. It supports Chaku-Uta Full, digital comic service and
entertainment services like Near Chat and Near Games for instant messaging
and multiplayer gaming. It is a thin, light-weight handset with high
resolution 2.2-inch QVGA LCD and a 2 mega pixel camera that was a
highlight of the exhibition show.
CEATEC JAPAN (Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies) was an
excellent showcase for QSound technology and a stage for meeting with its
many industry partners. Every year in October at Makuhari Messe, one of
the most well-known convention facilities in Japan, companies and
organizations representing the IT and electronics industries participate
in this exhibition. Companies announce cutting-edge technological
advancements and demonstrate the latest products, while executives and
other key people give lectures and seminars. Attendees have the
opportunity to experience all the recent trends in IT and electronics,
from technologies that showcase futuristic lifestyles to products that
will be on store shelves during the upcoming winter season.
